The Laundry Room

I am studying social work at the graduate level at the best social work school in Philly–becoming an activist clinician. I have moved 22 times since graduating from college and have always lived on the east coast.

I find astrology useful in keeping track of how the energy is working at any given moment, as a weather vane shows which way the wind is blowing.

There is much work to be done until each person in our country and in the world has a decent life and therefore a decent chance to seek happiness and contribute positively to the lives of others. I feel compelled to make a difference. Know there is a relationship between you and the man or woman with no home whom you pass every day, between what you have and s/he does not. 

These are exciting times, that require much of us.

I do not put my flipflops away for the winter anymore…

That’s all I’ll say for now. Otherwise, yes, I would have to “shoot” you…
